Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden
De Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden is een complex van drie gebouwen, met drie zalen: de Stadsgehoorzaal (uit 1891), de Aalmarktzaal (uit 2009) en de Waag (uit 1659).
The Waag and the Stadsgehoorzaal, both national monuments, are just a stone's throw from each other. The Aalmarktzaal is adjacent to the Stadsgehoorzaal. Each of the three halls has its own entrance.

The Stadsgehoorzaal in Leiden was originally a classical concert hall, but, as the name suggests, it's a venue for the entire city. Many high school students from Leiden and the surrounding area have taken their final exams here, many students have held galas here, and many academics have held symposiums and conferences. Every Leiden resident can enjoy classical music (chamber or symphonic) here weekly, and several times a year, large-scale dance parties. The Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden is a place where science and art converge. The monumental building on Breestraat boasts an impressive façade. The Stadsgehoorzaal consists of three halls: the 19th-century Grote Zaal (Great Hall), the modern Aalmarktzaal (Aalmarkt Hall), internationally renowned for its acoustics, and the Breezaal, the most classical hall in the Stadsgehoorzaal.
