Derya Türkan and Sokratis Sinopoulos met in their teens. More than 30 years later, the friends are seen worldwide as the leading artists on the Turkish kemenche and Greek lyra respectively, a 3-string bowed instrument with a lilting, somewhat melancholy sound.
