Tourist Information Office

How do I get to the Faculty of Law? Is there a walking tour of the Leiden hofjes (courtyard gardens)? What's on this weekend? Your visit to Leiden begins at the tourist office, the VVV! The VVV is right opposite Leiden Central station and is easily accessible.

Your key to Leiden

Come here for answers to all your questions about Leiden and get inspired and enthused. Whether it's ideas for day trips, a map, boat rental or the best places to eat, they know it all! You can also ask your public transport questions here or top up your public transport pass in the Arriva Store, which is also in the VVV.

And, last but not least, this is the place to buy all your original Leiden gifts, such as the Leiden version of Monopoly, card games, etchings and other souvenirs. Or buy a gift card, ranging from a VVV voucher to a ‘Treat yourself to Leiden’ card! See a selection of what's on offer in the webshop of the Leiden store!

    Extra tourist information points

Besides the Tourist Information Office located on Stationsweg 26, visitors and (potential) entrepreneurs can also go to 10 additional locations for information about the city center.

The "Tourist Information Points" are located at various places and can be recognized by a "Tourist Information Point" sticker on the window. At each location, you will find a display with maps, the event calendar and a city guide for visitors. In addition, the employees at each location are regularly updated about what's going on in the city to ensure that you are properly informed.
