Conincks Almshouse
This Almshouse was founded by Cecilia Coninck in 1758. It was built in 1773 and stands partly on the grounds of the former St. Ursula Convent.
It is one of the few buildings from this period, when Leiden was a poverty-stricken city. In 1861, a bequest from the Del Court van Krimpen family enabled four new houses to be added, with the same appearance as the old houses.
