In 1630, the Bethlehemshof was founded on the Langegracht.
In 1630, the Bethlehemshof was founded on the Langegracht. In 1811, it was merged with the courtyard ‘Den Houcksteen’, founded in 1660 by Flemish Baptists, at its current location. In 1897, a new facade was built. The original gate still bears the name ‘De Houcksteen’. The courtyard has retained its 17th-century character.
