Dragonboat Races
The Dragonboat Races in Leiden are the largest inner-city races in the Netherlands. As such, they are also among the most popular races in the Netherlands. And for good reason! With a participation of 25 teams at a time and thus a minimum of 75 heats, winning in Leiden is truly an achievement.
Anyone can participate! Amateurs, companies and, of course, professionals. That is why the Dragonboat Races in Leiden are the most fun!
Led by rousing drummers, fanatical professional and amateur rowing teams compete against each other. Which team will be the first to push the boat's dragon head over the finish line?
