July 1st is the day of the abolition of slavery in 1863, now known in the Netherlands as “Keti Koti”, broken chains
In Leiden, the “Songs of Freedom” festival will be organized on Saturday, July 4, on the grounds of the World Museum Leiden, featuring Afro-American music and a food court with exotic dishes.
