ARS and Beelden in Leiden

In this way, Beelden in Leiden is committed to strengthening the Dutch art scene by commissioning young artists and offering them a platform. By placing the works in public outdoor spaces, we aim for direct contact with visitors. Works that can move people, bring them joy, and perhaps even momentarily throw them off balance. Works that make us look around us again, open our minds, and broaden our perspectives. Works that represent an encounter with people and between people.
