The Orphanage
The Orphanage – the former Holy Spirit or Poor Orphan and Children's Home – is one of the largest monuments in Leiden.
What did it mean to be an orphan in Leiden? The exhibition brings the past to life with personal stories, historical objects, and impressive films. You will see, among other things, a moving documentary featuring interviews with former residents, as well as a film about the construction history of the monumental building.
