Cultural City Walk of Leiden through the Historic City Centre
A top experience with various highlights, such as:
- The Leiden canals, city moats, city gates, bridges, and many old courtyards that give the city its character.
- The birthplace of Rembrandt van Rijn, the famous Pieterskerk, and the beautiful town hall.
- The oldest university in the Netherlands and much more.
The city walk includes:
- A private city tour with an enthusiastic guide
- The meeting point is Garenmarkt in Leiden.
- The walk lasts approximately 1.5 hours
- Minimum group size is 8 people
- The cost is €20 per person (incl. VAT).
Singelpark Walk in Leiden
The Singelpark route is a beautiful new city walk around the Leiden canals. Singelpark is an initiative by the citizens and municipality of Leiden and is the longest city park in the Netherlands. The great variety of nature, culture, and water makes this walk very special.
The Singelpark walk is a top experience with various highlights, such as:
- Historical monuments such as the old city gates: Zijlpoort and Morspoort
- The stately Rapenburg, Leiden University, and the Sterrewacht (Observatory)
- The city park ‘Het Plantsoen’ and iconic locations like the birthplace of Rembrandt van Rijn
The Singelpark walk includes:
- A private city tour with a guide
- The meeting point is Garenmarkt in Leiden
- The walk lasts a maximum of 2 hours
- Minimum group size is 8 people
- The cost is €20 per person (incl. VAT).
The city walks are available upon request. Please agree on a date and time with the guide. The walk can also be provided in English.
