Van Assendelft Almshouse
This almshouse for poor families, funded by the 1624 legacy of Bartholomeus Willemsz. Van Assendelft.
The will was not executed until 1681. Fifteen houses had to be purchased or built, intended for impoverished families. In the 20th century, it stood empty for some time and was used by a distillery. In 1974, it underwent extensive restoration.
