Sustainable fashion is for everyone, and that is why we are bringing the Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week directly to the neighborhoods of Leiden this year!
In collaboration with Kringloopwarenhuis Leiden and de Stofbond, we are organizing a unique Upcycle Workshop where we demonstrate that creativity knows no waste.
We start by learning a few simple embroidery stitches and spend some time practicing. Then you will get a number of ideas for embroidering something on a blouse collar or cuff, the edge of a trouser pocket, or to cover up a stain, for example.
Come along, meet neighbors, and discover how fun and easy upcycling is. Together, we will make reuse the new standard!
No experience is necessary
Bring: A garment, for example a blouse with a cuff and/or collar or a pair of trousers
Threads, needles, scissors, and other materials will be provided
