40th Edition of Leiden Organ Day

Come along to the 40th edition of the Leiden Organ Day! On this day, seven organs can be heard during six concerts. The organs will be showcased to their fullest potential with music by Cabanilles, Bach, Ruppe, Mendelssohn, Vierne, Guilmant, Demessieux, and Bolt, among others.

During the lunch break, the now-famous Doe organ can be admired in the Hooglandse Church, and the restoration work on the Van Hagerbeer organ can be followed in the Pieterskerk. The closing concert takes place on the Willis organ (Hooglandse Church), where a 32-foot reed stop can be heard for the first time during a Leiden Organ Day (the Contra Posaune 32’, which was recently completed by Organ Builder Reil).
