Exhibition 'Heritage on the Move'

As part of the World Week for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development (May 19–29), LeidenGlobal presents the photo exhibition ‘Heritage on the Move’ one last time. This colorful exhibition brings together work by academics affiliated with LeidenGlobal, who reflect on the theme ‘Heritage on the Move’ based on their own research. Through these diverse perspectives, the subject is illuminated from various angles.

The exhibition focuses on cultural heritage in relation to movement and migration. Central to this is the close intertwining of heritage and migration: how migration influences cultural heritage, and how heritage, in turn, moves along with migrating communities.
