Noh is a remarkable musician, rooted in both classical music and jazz, and it speaks volumes. Together with her bandmates, she moves effortlessly between these worlds. The influences of her great heroes, the French composers Ravel and Debussy, resonate clearly on this album. Like a true impressionist, Noh plays with light and shadow.
