We sail along the Limes*, the natural northern border of the ancient Roman Empire, passing Oegstgeest, Valkenburg, and Rijnsburg. After about an hour and fifteen minutes, we moor in the bustling inner harbor of Katwijk. In this old fishing village, you can reach the boulevard in just five minutes. Enjoy the sun or unwind on the beach. Behind the dunes, we'll find a charming shopping center, and for a glimpse of traditional costumes, visit the Katwijk Museum. From Katwijk, we sail to old Leiden. In this "City of Discoveries," you'll find many museums and can wander through the historic city center. On and along the picturesque canals, you'll find a wide selection of terraces and charming restaurants. Every Wednesday, there's a charming market along the Nieuwe Rijn.
