National Windmill Day

Millers and mill guides are ready everywhere to let their visitors enjoy this quintessential Dutch living monument. Everyone should experience the smells, sounds, stories, and impressive old technology inside a mill at least once. Festive activities are organized in many places.

Every mill is unique and has its own story. Consequently, thousands of enthusiastic volunteers are active in the world of mills. As millers, but also as mill guides, in education teams, or in mill shops where flour, mustard, oil, and other mill products are sold. During National Mill Day, these enthusiasts are happy to share their passion.
