For centuries – and in some ways, even today – women’s bodies remained a mystery. They were described as "small men," but luckily, we are learning more and more about how untrue that really is. After all, understanding how your body works is essential!
At Rijksmuseum Boerhaave, you can piece together a body yourself during this holiday workshop. Will you create a beautifully realistic body with all the organs and bones in the right place? Or will you let your imagination run wild… What’s inside a space-body or a sea-body? Where do you place the half-eaten sandwich or the peanut brain? We can't wait to see your creations!
