Her passion for composing and photographing still lifes perfectly reflects her love of texture, organic forms, and applied art. Geertje is originally an art historian specializing in modern applied art, specifically glass art. She studied at Leiden University and works at the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands in Amersfoort. As an artist, she is self-taught.
