100-year-old steam locomotive

Inside the station, time appears to have stood still. At the platform, a nearly 100-year-old steam locomotive with antique wooden carriages awaits you. The conductor blows his whistle, the boilerman throws some more coal on the fire and the driver pulls the regulator, setting the locomotive hissing and puffing into motion.

Inside and outside

There is plenty to see and do. You enter a real station building and buy an old-fashioned train ticket. The platform leads into the outdoor museum, featuring more historical buildings, antique carriages, and steam and diesel locomotives.
