Month of Tutankhamun

In November 2022, exactly 100 years after the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb, the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden will be full of (free) activities for a month dedicated to this most famous pharaoh of Egypt.

The month will including lectures, workshops, guided tours, panel discussions, an Egyptian fashion show and a festive closing with a Tutankhamun pub quiz.

This month is organized in the context of Leiden 2022, City of Science, by the Faculty of Archeology and the Faculty of Humanities of Leiden University, the Netherlands Institute for the Near East (NINO), LeidenGlobal and the National Museum of Antiquities.
