The Morse alphabet was developed in 1835 by Samuel Morse, but has been adapted and improved over many years through practical experience. For example, the @ sign got its own code. There are still many radio amateurs who broadcast Morse code over the radio.

The activity is free and for everyone, but will give special attention to children who want to learn (about) signals. The activity is in both Dutch and English.
