From the 7th to the 15th of October, The Space Week will be organised by Space Campus, in collaboration with the European Space Agency - European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESA ESTEC).
The Space Week demystifies space by opening the doors for everyone interested in anything that has to do with space. Visitors, businesses, investors and attendees grow their knowledge, discover how space technology and data impacts society for the better and accelerate innovations. Meet fellow space enthusiasts or spark your curiosity how space can solve societal challenges; from your neighbour to the current astronauts and everyone in between!
In Leiden, two Space Week events are taking place, namely the SRON Open Day and the Open Day at the Old Observatory. During the SRON Open Day, you can enjoy an educational program suitable for all ages, primarily conducted in Dutch. The Old Observatory's Open Day features workshops and demonstrations. Additionally, you have the option to take a tour of the historic telescopes or visit the exhibit on the JWST (the James Webb Space Telescope).…
