Christmas concert, the Magic of Christmas
A Christmas concert with works by Britten, Pärt, Bruckner and Nordqvist, among others. Accompaniment by harp Michelle Verheggen
Get yourself into the Christmas mood. The Leiderdorps Kamerkoor conducted by Angeliki Ploka takes you to that wonderful time of Christmas. We do this with a very varied Christmas program, in which harp accompaniment is central. For the music we travel through many countries and through different times. From Old Dutch we go to the magical white fields of Scandinavia. And from Pärt's minimalist, spiritual composition back to the old Germany of Praetorius. And of course Britten's English 'Ceremony of Carols' should not be missed.
