Rudolf Steiner was born in 1861 and died in 1925. In these 64 years he brought an amazing movement to life, the consequences of which can still be seen today, and which continue to grow. The lecture will cover his life. What is the origin of antroposophy, how did it take shape, what are the consequences and developments in our time, and what potential lies in the time to come?

Rik ten Cate (1955) will head this lecture. He is a member of the board of the Antroposophical Association in the Netherlands, and as such, represents the Netherlands abroad. He began his studies as a teacher and taught for years in primary schools, secondary schools as well as adult education. Besides this, Rik studied visual arts, and since 1988 he is a practising sculptor with expositions in the Netherlands and abroad. For an insight into his sculpting, you can visit his website.

After the break, journalist Maarten Baanders will be moderating the conversation between the speaker and those present.

Entry: € 10 – students € 7,50
