Leiden Barrel Organ Day
The Leiden Barrel Organ Day is celebrating its silver jubilee this year. In this festive version, the barrel organs are set up in the Hooglandsekerk.
There you will find the Blue Pillar, the Flower Girl, the Joker and many other monuments. All staffed by the familiar faces of the organ grinders, also known as 'Mansende men'. They preserve this cultural heritage with great love for posterity. There are also small hand barrel organs to see and hear! The barrel organs take turns playing.
