Making Roman floral wreaths
For celebrations and parties, as offerings to the gods, to honor heroes and to decorate their homes during heydays, the Romans made garlands and wreaths of flowers, grasses and herbs.
Dr. Gemma Jansen has studied Roman wreaths and tells everything about her research. Then we will get to work ourselves to weave a beautiful flower garland using Roman techniques.
