Kaiser Spring Lectures 2023

Kaiser Spring Lectures, in the Old Observatory in Leiden. The theme this year is: “The Circle of Life: from the beginning of the universe to the creation of life”.
In March, four scientists, most of them astronomers, will give lectures every Saturday. The aim of the lectures is to make astronomy accessible to the general public and there is a lot of enthusiasm for it every year. This year's program is as follows:
Saturday March 4 (Dutch) prof. Dr. Bas Haring: “I am so small and the universe is so big” All about the big questions and big interests we have as a small child
Saturday March 11 (English) prof. dr. Karina Caputi: “Unveiling the Secrets of the Early Universe with the JWST” All about the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST)
Saturday March 18 (English) Dr. Nienke van der Marel: “Building molecules in the Universe” All about the latest developments in the search for the building blocks of life
