Herman Boerhaave & The Golden Age of Science

Herman Boerhaave, the scientific all-rounder from Leiden, will celebrate his 350th birthday this year. To honour the occasion, the Boerhaave museum will feature an anniversary exhibition. As a physician, anatomist, botanist, chemist, humanist and researcher, Boerhaave laid the foundation for extensive developments in the field of physiology and pathology. The exhibition allows visitors to become acquainted with the 'tutor of Europe', and learn more about the GOlden Age of science.
