More information

From April 25, the exhibition Roman villas in Limburg can be seen in the National Museum of Antiquities.

Two thousand years ago, Limburg was home to hundreds of Roman villas, as the Romans themselves called them: enormous arable farms that supplied the entire region with grain.
More than twenty of these estates have been excavated and explored over the past hundred years, after which the finds were dispersed.
The most important archaeological villa finds have now been brought together for the first time in this exhibition.
